Burgos, Rest Day – El Camino Day 5

Today Ron and I decided to have a rest day in Burgos. Just time to chill, relax and heal. We went to find a new rain jacket for Ron and then walked around to see the city take in the sites and visit the cathedral.

We stumbled upon some fellow Korean pilgrims we met yesterday in the Burgos Cathedral and took a selfie with them. The girl in the middle had walked 50kms yesterday to make it into the city arriving at 9:30pm unlike us who had caught a taxi. We wandered around some more but as it’s only a chilly 6C we dropped into a pizza bar not far from the hotel for a pint of San Miguel and chat about the days ahead. Till then…
