Milo

They say money can’t buy happiness, but it can buy a pair of floppy ears and a tail that never stops wagging. Since Milo, my Dachshund, entered my life, the house feels fuller, and my heart feels lighter. Whether he’s burrowing under a mountain of blankets or greeting me at the door with that signature “wiggle,” he reminds me daily that joy doesn’t have to be big—sometimes, it’s just twelve inches off the ground.
