The Low-Rider Who Lifted My Spirits was a Dashshund who changed my life.
They say money can’t buy happiness, but it can buy a pair of floppy ears and a tail that never stops wagging. Since Milo, my miniature Dachshund, entered my life, I’ve learned that life with a Doxie is never boring. He’s transformed my house into a home and reminded me why so many people are obsessed with this loyal breed.
Whether he’s displaying that famous Dachshund temperament by burrowing under a mountain of blankets or greeting me at the door with his signature “long dog wiggle,” he reminds me daily that joy doesn’t have to be big. Sometimes, the best emotional support comes just twelve inches off the ground. My sausage dog might be small, but he has a way of filling up every room with love.
Well done James’
